Job Purpose

To oversee and manage all aspect of the Merseyside Domestic Abuse Workplace Scheme, Champions Training & Champions Network and Identify opportunities for income generation to allow expansion of  the scheme across the County of Merseyside in order to support victims and vulnerable people.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Domestic and Sexual Abuse and violence and Violence Against Women and Girls locally and nationally.
  • Have a wide-ranging understanding of the priorities and challenges for both the Statutory and Third Sectors in relation to Domestic Abuse
  • Have a proven track record in writing and delivering effective and specialist training in relation to Domestic Abuse
  • The ability to be able to inspire, enthuse and engage people from a wide range of organisations challenging perceptions and assumptions around Domestic Abuse
  • Have a high degree of interpersonal skills is required to build and maintain a network of contacts and excellent relationships with key partners, stakeholders and agencies representing the OPCC in different forums both internally and externally.
  • Have excellent planning and organisation skills are required to ensure suitable venues are available to run the courses.
