PCC Elections 2016

On 5th May, people across England and Wales will take to the polls to elect the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for their local police force area.

PCCs are elected to hold the police to account for delivering the kind of policing you want to see. Their aim is to cut crime and to ensure your police force is effective. They are there to ensure the policing needs of the public are met as effectively as possible and to oversee how crime is tackled by the police.

Please note that during the formal pre-election period there will be only be limited updates to the Merseyside PCC website.
