APCC and NPCC Partnership Summit 2022

- QEII Conference Centre, Westminster

Merseyside's Police Commissioner is joining colleagues from across the country at the APCC / NPCC Partnership Summitt entitled 'Cutting Crime, Building Confidence'

The event brings together senior police officers, Police and Crime Commissioners, criminal justice experts, politicians, and decision-makers from national organisations.

Over the course of the two days, a series of thought-provoking and challenging discussions on major issues affecting law enforcement and justice will be held, including the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, police culture and public confidence and tackling violence against women and girls.

The event will be chaired and facilitated by journalist, BBC newsreader and presenter, Clive Myrie, and will include speeches from the Association of PCC's (APCC) Chair Marc Jones and the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC) Martin Hewitt and a keynote speech from a Government Minister.

Merseyside's Police Commissioner Emily Spurrell is introducing one of the 'five of the floor' sessions focused on the work of Merseyside's Violence Reduction Partnership.
