The Commissioner also works with a wide range of organisations through several important, regular meetings, such as the Merseyside Criminal Justice Board and the Merseyside Community Safety Partnership;
The Commissioner is committed to working, where appropriate, in collaboration with other Commissioners, police forces and partner organisations either nationally, regionally or within the county for the benefit of Merseyside.

In July 2015, a new Joint Police and Fire and Rescue Committee was established to consider on-going and potential future collaboration between Merseyside Police and Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service. Committee papers for these meetings can be found here.
Merseyside Police provide assistance to the Commissioner with regard to legal advice, HR support, Financial and Estate management.
In addition, the PCC has a service level agreement with Knowsley MBC for the provision of specific legal services, i.e. property, conveyancing, debt recovery and litigation, the procurement and renewal of insurance cover and day to day treasury management services.
