Jane Kennedy, Police Commissioner for Merseyside, will tonight (14.3.13) be attending Sefton Council’s East Area Committee to listen to resident’s concerns around community safety issues.

Jane Kennedy, Police Commissioner for Merseyside, will tonight (14.3.13) be attending Sefton Council’s East Area Committee to listen to resident’s concerns around community safety issues.

Following recent incidents in the area, Sefton MBC has stated its intention to step up its fight against the gangs who are involved in violent crime in the Borough.

Working together with Cllr Trish Hardy, Community Safety Lead for Sefton Council, Police Commissioner Jane Kennedy will be coordinating a multi-agency approach to the issues facing the area.

Jane Kennedy said, “We will bring together all relevant agencies to fight this problem head on and ensure we are using all the resources available to keep the community safe and bring offenders to justice.”
