Jane Kennedy, Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside, has today confirmed the appointment of her new Chief Executive, Dr Joanne Liddy.

Jane Kennedy, Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside, has today confirmed the appointment of her new Chief Executive, Dr Joanne Liddy.

Dr Liddy is currently Director of Complex Casework for the Home Office and has previously worked for the Borders Agency as Regional Director for the North West. She also led the Home Office Victims of Crime Unit.  

Commissioner Kennedy said, “I am very pleased that Dr Joanne Liddy will be joining my office as Chief Executive and Monitoring Officer in August. Her extensive experience in the Home Office and criminal justice field means she will be a very strong leader with the ability to build even stronger relationships with both Merseyside Police and the wide range of other partners who help tackle crime and deliver justice.”
