Merseyside's Deputy Police Commissioner will be attending the second partnership summit of Police and Crime Commissioners and Police Chiefs.

The Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) and National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC) Partnership Summit brings together senior leaders and experts from across UK law enforcement, criminal justice and government to discuss and shape solutions to the key questions of the day.

Cllr Sue Murphy will be among the PCCs attending in the event which is being held in London.

Key topics include police reform, building legitimacy and consent, digital opportunities and emergency services collaboration,.

The event will be opened by the Home Secretary, Rt Hon Amber Rudd MP, and will also include a keynote speech from the Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott MP.

The two-day event will include Question Time-style Q&As, a series of 'lightning talks' on hot topics with speakers showcasing campaigns, projects and innovative practice in their area and a range of breakout sessions.
