Merseyside's Police Commissioner is today meeting with the Police and Crime Panel, the body which scrutinses her work.
Jane Kennedy meets six times a year with the Panel. They support the Commissioner in her work, while holding responsibility for overseeing her work and making sure she is holding the Chief Constable to account.
This is the first meeting of the 2018/19 financial year and on the agenda for the discussion is a review of the Commissioner's draft annual report reflecting on the previous financial year, the Commissioner's Crime Prevention Strategy and an update on the issues and recommendations by the Panel in relation to governance arrangements
These meetings are always open to the public and you are welcome to attend.
The papers for this meeting are always published five days ahead of this meeting and can be found by going to the Police and Crime Panel section on the Knowsley Council website here.
