The Commissioner meets every quarter with the Police and Crime Panel.
The Panel are responsible for scrutinising her work and making sure she is holding the Chief Constable to account.
On the agenda for discussion are the Panel's work in supporting and challenging the Commissioner, the Commissioner's Police and Crime priority of providing a visible and accessible neighbourhood policing style and a progress report on the Commissioner's Appropriate Adult service which provides support for vulnerable adults who are detained in custody.
The Commissioner will also update the panel on her Crime Prevention Strategy, including her Community Safety Partnership Funding, and provide her annual update on the estate strategy.
