Merseyside's Police Commissioner is today meeting with the Police and Crime Panel, the body which scrutinses her work.
Jane Kennedy meets six times a year with the Panel. They support the Commissioner in her work, while holding responsibility for overseeing her work and making sure she is holding the Chief Constable to account.
This is the fourth meeting of this financial year and on the agenda for the discussion are the Commissioner's priority of tackling serious and organised crime. She will also update members on her approach to providing Community Safety funding for 2018/19 and her medium term financial strategy.
These meetings are always open to the public and you are welcome to attend.
The papers for this meeting are always published five days ahead of this meeting and can be found on the Police and Crime Panel website here.
