Merseyside's Police Commissioner is today meeting with the Police and Crime Panel, the body which scrutinses her work.
Jane Kennedy meets six times a year with the Panel. They support the Commissioner in her work, while holding responsibility for overseeing her work and making sure she is holding the Chief Constable to account.
This is the first meeting of the 2019/20 financial year and on the agenda for discussion are an update from the PCC on her 10-year estates plan to modernise and update Merseyside Poilce's stations and buildings, with the aim of improving efficiency and saving money. The Panel will also review the PCC's decisions and set a work programme for the year.
Jane will also present a draft copy of her Annual Report for 2018/19 to the Panel, giving members the opportunity to provide their views and feedback.
