Merseyside's Police Commissioner is today meeting with the Police and Crime Panel, the body which scrutinses her work.
Jane Kennedy meets six times a year with the Panel. They support the Commissioner in her work, while holding responsibility for overseeing her work and making sure she is holding the Chief Constable to account.
This is the second meeting of the 2019/20 financial year and on the agenda for discussion are the Commissioner's Police and Crime Plan priority of preventing crime and anti-social behaviour and her recent key decisions. She will also present her final Annual Report for 2018/19 to the Panel, having previously presented a draft report in order to give members the opportunity to provide feedback.
These meetings are always open to the public and you are welcome to attend.
The papers for this meeting are always published five days ahead of this meeting and can be found by going to the Police and Crime Panel section on the Knowsley Council website here.
