Merseyside's Police Commissioner is today meeting with the Police and Crime Panel, the body which scrutinses her work.
Jane Kennedy meets six times a year with the Panel. They support the Commissioner in her work, while holding responsibility for overseeing her work and making sure she is holding the Chief Constable to account.
This is the third meeting of the 2018/19 financial year and on the agenda for discussion are the PCC's priority of providing a visible and accessible neighbourhood policing style, holding the Chief Constable to account, the Medium Term Financial Strategy and Community First.
These meetings are always open to the public and you are welcome to attend.
The papers for this meeting are always published five days ahead of this meeting and can be found by going to the Police and Crime Panel section on the Knowsley Council website here.
