Merseyside's Police Commissioner will unite with her colleagues from across the North-West at a regular meeting aimed at improving partnership working and collaboration.
Jane Kennedy meets with her PCC colleagues from across the region every quarter with the goals of sharing information and best practice and improving shared working.
This meeting will be held at the Lancashire Constabulary Headquarters in Preston. PCCs from across the North West will receive an update from the Membership Services Manager of the Association of PCCs (APCC) Halita Obineche. Also up for discussion will be specialist capabilities.
This meeting will be followed by a meeting of the North West Joint Oversight Committee, during which the PCCs are able to monitor the existing collaboration arrangements. On the agenda for this meeting is a review of Titan, the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU).
Titan was established in 2009 as a collaboration between the six police forces in Cumbria, Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and North Wales to tackle serious organised crime that crosses county borders in the region. The mission of the unit is simple - to tackle organised crime groups causing the greatest levels of harm to communities in the North West. Find out more about Titan.
