Merseyside Community Safety Partnership meeting

Merseyside

Huyton Municipal Buildings - CLOSED MEETING
30th November 2018 10:00 - 12:00

The Merseyside Community Safety Partnership was formed by the Commissioner to bring all her partners in community safety together.

This innovative Partnership, now chaired by the Commissioner, aims to develop and enhance multi-agency approaches to reducing crime and disorder. Through co-operation and consensus, it works to make communities safer, support victims and bring offenders to justice.

After being formed, the Partnership agreed a vision statement to:

"Develop and enhance the multi-agency approach to reducing crime and disorder, making communities safer and bringing offenders to justice in Merseyside."

The Partnership meets quarterly and it provides a forum for members to share information and advice on key police and crime issues. It also gives members an opportunity to discuss new or proposed legislation and help them all to work towards maintaining and improving an efficient and effective criminal justice system.

This is a private meeting for invited members only. In 2017, it was agreed that the theme for these meetings should follow the Commissioner's police and crime priorities, in order to ensure joined up working on the issues that matter most to the people of Merseyside.

The agenda for this meeting will focus on the PCC's priority of protecting victims, supporting vulnerable people and maintaining public safety.

The minutes from these meetings are also published on this website. See the minutes, find out more about the Merseyside Community Safety Partnership and read about its good work here.
