Merseyside's Police Commissioner will meet virtually with her PCC colleagues from around the country today.
Jane Kennedy is attending a General Meeting of the Association of Police and Crime Commissioner's (APCC), the national body which represents Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs).
Due to the current restrictions around people's movements in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, this meeting is being held virtually, allowing PCCs to join together and discuss critical issues remotely from their areas across England and Wales.
The meeting will include an update on Operation Uplift, the national campaign which aims to increase police officer numbers by 20,000across England and Wales, as well as a range of presentations from PCCs on key issues including finance, the National Police Air Service and the criminal justice system. There will also be a presentation on the NPCC review by the Chair, Martin Hewitt.
