Merseyside's Deputy Police Commissioner will meet with PCC colleagues from around the country in London today.
Cllr Emily Spurrell is attending the Annual General Meeting of the Association of Police and Crime Commissioner's (APCC), the national body which represents Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs).
The AGM will provide the APCC with the opportunity to present its business plan to PCCs from across the country. There will also be a session on critical incident management, examining how PCCs can come together if required to address a national policing situation.
The meeting will also feature an update on the Spending Review and a presentation from the Director General of the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC), Michael Lockwood, on his new role and his vision and plan for the organisation.
