Merseyside's Deputy Commissioner will today attend a national Association of Police and Crime Commissioners' meeting on supporting victims and reducing harm.
In her capacity as Merseyside's Victims' Champion and Deputy PCC, Cllr Sue Murphy will join her colleagues from around the country for this regular event.
On the agenda for this meetings are an update and discussion on the further devolution of victims' services with the Ministry of Justice, plans for peer reviews of each PCCs approach to the provision of victims' services and Child Abduction Warning Notices.
The Commissioners will also hear about a presentation from charity Karma Nirvana on their work to support victims of honour crimes and forced marriages.
