By joining the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) based in Allerton, you will help Jane realise her vision and strategies on policing, criminal justice and community safety for Merseyside.
Salary: £17,763 - £18,933

An opportunity has arisen to provide administrative and technical assistance to the Policy and Commissioning Officers of the Merseyside Police & Crime Commissioner on local and national policy issues which may impact on the police service, to ensure compliance with legal and professional standards.
Research skills are essential to the role and an understanding of various research methods will be required.
The post holders should be computer literate to undertake research and analysis to ensure accurate recording of information.
This is a new and developing role within a revised service environment of the Police & crime Commissioner's office. You will be expected to manage the work and expectations of the PCC to support priorities and focused engagement activity.
There is a need to continually reprioritise work, whilst maintaining the support to key stakeholders. This will be done through a regular prioritising process, to drive and promote a culture of change within the function to ensure that the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner becomes more customer focused.
