The Commissioner meets six times a year with the Police and Crime Panel.
The Panel are responsible for scrutinising her work and making sure she is holding the Chief Constable to account.
On the agenda for discussion at this meeting are the Commissioner's Police and Crime priority supporting victims, protecting vulnerable people and maintaining public safety, her precept proposals and fire service collaboration.
The Commissioner will also update the panel on the collaborative work currently being undertaken by Merseyside Police on both a regional and national basis.
